Olympic Games London 2012

Olympic Games 2012

In 2012, the summer Olympic Games, also known as the 30th Olympiad will take place in London. Great Britain. The Olympic Games opening ceremony will be on 27 July and the closing ceremony on 12 August 2012. In 2012, London will become the first city to host the Olympic Games three times. The previous two times were in 1908 and in 1948. On 6 July 2005 London was elected to host the Olympic Games in 2012, defeating competitors such as Paris, Madrid, New York and Moscow. The Olympic Games prompted a redevelopment of many of the areas of London in which the games are to be held – particularly themed towards sustainability– while the budgetary considerations have generated some criticism. Hurry up to organise your journey and think of the amazing experience that expects you in the London Olympic Games in 2012.
